Flyball is a relay race run at top speed with four dogs to a team. The first dog on the team runs down a line of four jumps, triggers a box to release a ball, the dog catches the ball and then runs back down the line of jumps to the start. The next dog on the team then runs the sequence until all four dogs have completed the race. The fastest team wins.
This class is for all levels. Dogs that have never played the sport before or those that have completed flyball classes can all attend.
Dogs should have basic obedience skills and have no reactivity or aggression issues towards dogs or people to attend.

Scent hurdle is a fun combination of jumping, racing, scent discrimination and retrieving!
Similar to flyball, scent hurdle racing involves two teams going head to head for the fastest team to have all four dogs complete the sequence successfully. With scent hurdle, each dog jumps over 4 jumps to retrieve their dumbelle in a box, then return over the 4 jumps across the finish line. The next dog on the team completes the same sequence until all four dogs have had their turn. The fastest team wins .

Skills you’ll learn in this class include food and toy control games, impulse control and release words, start line behaviour, teaching your dog to actively engage with you in any environment and more. Not only are these skills helpful for a cooperative working relationship for any dog sport, they aid in impulse control when teaching agility contacts, Rally-O or Obedience stays, and more.
